It is a fact that the process of aging of road surfaces begins immediately after the asphalt pavement is laid. Initially, this process is necessary for the road surface in order to obtain its mechanical resistance. Later, however, while the process continues, it inevitably leads to the deterioration of asphalt pavement by creating cracks and holes in the road surface.

For road surfaces that have suffered extensive deterioration on their surface, the most effective repair process is milling and replacement with new asphalt pavement. More specifically and depending on each case, the work carried out is: cleaning and preparation of the area, milling where necessary in order to smooth irregularities on the old road surface and with the adaption for the new, laying of leveling layers for altitude adjustment of the surfaces and final layering of the new asphalt concrete.

Preventive maintenance on an asphalt road is very important to prolong its service life. The work done is the repair of pits, the repair of cracks and the sealing of the road surface with special asphalt emulsions.

Pothole repair is done with cold or hot bituminous mixture depending on the season of the intervention.

Crack sealing is one of the most effective procedures for preventive asphalt road surface maintenance. Prevents water infiltration which weakens the base and the sub-base of the road surface, which results in the deterioration of the road surface in greater extent. The material we use for the sealing of the cracks is asphalt elastomeric sealant of cold application with synthetic reeds and mineral stabilizers.

Sealing the surface of the roadway protects the road from various corrosion factors such as fuel, mineral oils, salt, water, solar radiation, etc., significantly increasing endurance and durability. The material used is a special asphalt emulsion with elastomeric additives.
